Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb fresh green beans trimmed
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes optional
  • 1/2 cup crispy fried onions optional for topping

Instructions
 

Preheat the Oven:

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Blanch the Green Beans:

  • Boil water in a large pot, add the green beans, and cook for 2-3 minutes. Drain and set aside.

Prepare the Cheese Sauce:

  • In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and cook for 1 minute. Stir in heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Add cheddar, mozzarella, and Parmesan cheeses, stirring until smooth. Season with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes (if using).

Assemble the Dish:

  • Place the green beans in a baking dish and pour the cheese sauce over them. Toss to coat evenly.

Add Toppings (Optional):

  • Sprinkle crispy fried onions on top for added texture.

Bake:

  • Place the dish in the preheated oven and bake for 20-25 minutes until the cheese is golden and bubbly.

Serve:

  • Remove from the oven, let it cool for a few minutes, and serve. Enjoy!
